Hard to find, but get it if you can!, Wednesday, 05 September 2007

The model does sit a big high; but despite this the model is a real beauty. Produced in low numbers the model may be hard to find; if not impossible.

Add firepower to your base!, Tuesday, 28 August 2007

I can't find much wrong with this model other than the wing root gap. Bring this typhoon into your arsenal, you won't be dissapointed!

Good start to a 1:200 Military Diorama, Friday, 24 August 2007

With most of Herpa's scenery, buildings and figures, you'll need to add some details, weathering and add-ons to make it work for your specific needs. the basics of the sets are good, but expect to dab a bit into your paint set to spiff these up a bi.

Air Siam isn\'t around...will this one be in your, Thursday, 16 August 2007

While this model was made for the Herpa store, we don't find it overly impressive. Granted it is very retro, but the airline doesn't have a lasting impression in many people's minds. In fact, most people have never heard of Air Siam. This model is probably best suited for someone who collects obscure airlines; all models; or retros.

For special liveries, Add this one to your fleet, Wednesday, 15 August 2007

An interesting livery that people will most likely ask you about. This livery adds something to the normally dull and all white Austrian Airlines livery; so if you like a special livery and don't have an Austrian in your fleet, you may want to pick this one up.

Small but detailed!, Friday, 22 June 2007

I must say that I'm probably one of the few people that love the new 1:1000 line from Herpa and this set is no exception. Some may question my affinity for such small models, but I decorate my Christmas tree with them in the winter months. Aside from that they make for an interesting conversation piece and are models that will add variety to any collection.

  Hot...Hot...Hot...PINK!, Thursday, 21 June 2007

Now that the cat is out of the bag on Herpa's new Airbus moulds, these reviews will take a backseat to critcizing the old style moulds. However there are a few minor mistakes on this model that do take away from its realisim. However it is a unique livery, but the Hot Pink was waay to Hot for us.

Great start to a promising product line!, Wednesday, 20 June 2007

While there is some effort in building these models, the effort is certainly less than building from scratch. We commend AD for their ability to break into such a unique way of building models. We hope to see the model line expanded.

Pick this one up!, Thursday, 22 March 2007

You won't be upset if you have this model in your collection; its nostalgic, looks great, and despite some minor missing details and mould improvements, its one for the display cabinet.

Day Dreaming?, Monday, 26 February 2007

Minor points off for the incorrect colors but kudos on a fantastic mould. This 1:400 model is a few steps up on the 1:500 model of the same type.
