Taipei Spotting...

apart from the Museum at CKS does anyone know of any places to spot from on the perimeter and how to get there?
whats the new terminal like for spotting?
i know of two 737-200 parked up in the city. one near the river advertising a housing development and one used as
restaurant at "hung shulin". are there any more airctraft
like this in taipei or taiwan?

i will be there tomorrow 28th feb. KLM from BKK.
where are you staying? just spotting at sungshan and
CKS? 8th and 9th of march thats a weekend so it should be no problem for me to meet you at CKS or Sungshan.
Sungshan is the better airport if you have never been there
before. CKS hasnt got very good views and the movements
are not much different to HK.
i bet your flying CX?
there is an airport bus that runs form CKS to Sungshan Airport if you are wondering how to get there.

The 8th is a Friday and we arrive at 4.55am on CX2042 !!. I think we will check in at lunchtime and then get over to the end of the runway at Sung Shan, or we will just check in at night, not sure yet as we have no Hotel yet !!

Anyway if your free on the Friday we will be at the end of the runway. The end where they come in VERY LOW. That is if we can find our way to the spot !!!

got in TPE last night.upgraded to business class on the KLM.
i will email you over the weekend with details of how to get to the end of the runway.busy now and dont have much access
to a computer.
see you in taipei...

yeah i am busy! just arrived in TPE.i am running around
looking for a job and the computer i am using right now is
in a shopping centre.its free but you can only go on it for 15 mins and you have to queue up!
when i get to a proper internet cafe i will email you.
might be working on the friday day/evening? i will be there if i am not.
i will look for a hotel nearby sungshan aswell if i get the chance and give you details. there are a few around but i know some are expensive.
there is an airport hotel at CKS right opposite the museum.loads of hotels in downtown taipei at reasonable prices.can get a taxi easily to runway.love hotels are cheap
and ok.

We won't spend much time at CKS. We will be going straight to the hotel then to Sung Shan. We will look around CKS a little when we leave. Either way, we will get lots of pics!!
