They are not sending them, they used to though! back when they had a hub here. they flew to several destinations in central America such as Panama, Cancun, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Honduras conecting passengers with the 2 daily flights to Madrid in 747 and A343/A346... however after 9/11 it became complicated to operate the hub due to the new FAA regulations... so after 2004 they decided to eliminate the hub and the A319s returned to Europe... it's still the only US hub ever operated by a foreign airline...

From looking on google maps, I think a car would be better to get there rather than public transport. I will have to make sure I visit MIA, as well as my sister

Ohh you better get a car to move around Miami, because I tell you, Public transport here SUCKS especially if you're away from Downtonwn Miami! hehe and yeah... if you like aviation, Miami is a Must-go

I live next to a retired pilot and he had noticed I was taking pictures of my planes outside and he came over and we talked. Then some how we got into the subject of Miami and he had said that Iberia were sending an A319 or A320 down there and he was going to go down there and get some pics. of it.

The only thing "new" about Iberia at Miami is the opening of the new Barcelona-Miami next month in A340-300... nothing else! so I that was just a rumor...  they have no plans or whatsoever to re-open the MIA hub, specially now that most of the destinations that were served with the A319s through MIA are now being operated non-stop from Madrid on A340

As always amazing shots, The Air France Boeing 747 in the New livery just looks  . Can't wait to come and see this for my self, something different to Manchester anyway
Is there only one Virgin Atlantic flight aday from LHR arriving at 16:20?

Thankss! I agree with the AirFrance! It looks awesome! and even more awesome considering it's CLEAN haha .. And yup, there's only one Virgin flight a day, landing at MIA as around 5:20
