Nice shots, I love El Al's new colors. It looks like you had a great day for that, perfect lighting, good diversity and based on what my friend told me, the weather's nice and warm.

Nice shots but the image size needs to be a little bigger so that there is enough resolution to enjoy the pictures.

Looks like you had a great day out!

Those are some nice pics. I would guess that you possibly had some connections to get in there knowing how security can be quite tight in Israel (or so I hear, may be wrong since the only source I have are various news sources.)

I especially loved the Arkia DC-3, had no idea that they even flew them (or were even around when they DC-3 was still widely used around the world.)

As for models, not to sound mean, but I remember there used to be a guy who had once worked at GJ over at DAC. He said that most of the time when you sent a "request" to them, the most they did is laugh and throw it away. Not sure if that's exactly how it goes, but I am sure that they possibly have very little of any reply they can give other than "We can't for blah blah blah."

You could try to be lucky though and try scoring that Arkia 737-200 in the more current scheme that Aeroclassics has made. They also made a few Viscounts as well. But they are Aeroclassics, so that means that they could be harder to come by with the lower production numbers.

Yeah, GJ takes a while to get back to you, if at all.

We should see if Andrew Klein will do one up? Maybe the old Arkia DC-3 eh? Very nice!

I was at the airport in Herzlia washing airplanes for 10 shekels an hour while I worked my way through Israel! I had a blast!

Check my site out below, I have a section wher you can submit me a photo if you want to see it made into a diecast airliner! Maybe send me that pic of the Arkia DC-3!

I'm sorry, I do not understand what you just said. All I did was say that I liked the DC-3 photo, as well as told you what I heard GJ does with most of their "requests", as well as saying you must've had connections in order to get into the ATC tower, since I hear how hardcore they are on security in Israel.

Re: Spotting in TLV

New pictures, from August 6th, at the airport itself...
I know the quality is very low, becouse of the camera and the use of "painter" of windows. I still think that the aircrafts are still visible. XD
