Wow all of these classics!!!! DL L1011, CO DC-10, TWA 757!!!! It is exciting... oh and how come no UAs? Last time I checked they had a major hub there!

Wow very nice photos, especially the Fiji B747, and the much missed Delta Tristars and TWA Tristar.
I have been to LAX a few times, and a really good place to spot is beside the IN N OUT restaurant on sepulveda boulevard I think. The burgers are great, thte smell of aviation fuel is gorgegous and the planes are in your face practically, it's just wonderful watching an Asian operator like Korean Air, Asiana, China Airlines bring in their 747s ,not too mention Lufthansa and BA of course.
I remember seeing an America West and Frontier Boeing 737-200 taking off, the noise was unbelievable, and you could hear one of the JT8D's backfire!

You know....I love them! Man, some of those liveries were ugly, LAN Chile looks really ugly but now their colours are really nice!
