I wonder?????

Hey Hamish - great shots!!!! Thanks for not only making the trip out to catch this bird before she is gone, but also for posting them.

Still in a quandary about whether I will be on that Boxing Day flight or not. My little birdie inside Qantas is looking into it for me...

Would be great to make the Boxing Day flight. I'm searching to find out when another one makes its way across the Tasman, never know might have a crack at getting photo's of all of the last 3! Would love for Inflight 500 to make a model of this (or any other model from NZ/OZ) for that matter! Quite convinced it is the most neglected continent, don't care what the South Americans say!

Re: Qantas 747-300 Gerald(Check this out)ton

Excellent photos, thanks for posting. Certainly in these last few weeks of their operation any Aussie spotters will probably want to catch a last glimpse. I hadn't even realised at our last spotting trip that would be the last chance for me to see EBX...

I think one more trip down to Sydney Airport to get a classic B747 is in order. Though of the three remaining I already have fond memories having flown on each of them this year!

I can almost guarantee that all 'Down under' spotters experience these feelings most days!
