Very good photos I have to say, I also like the Rolls Royce RB211 engines, such a shame they are being replaced by the ugly A380. Thats just my opinion, I love the 747's upper deck and it's overall design- i think she deserves her respect as the Queen of the Skies.
Just out of curiosity, what happened to VH-EBU, 'Nalanji Dreaming'?

Nice photos indeed, I did not know that Qantas is still operating Boeing 747-300s. I agree that it is a shame that such a nice bird as the Boeing 747 classic is being replaced by the Airbus 380. Keep them rolling.

Travel City Direct had Boeing 747-300's under the parent compnay XL went under. I often saw the boeing 7473 at Manchester.

Also is Qantas replaceing the 747-300 with the Airport A380 ?

Good shots!!...although it is a nice aircraft, i do think they look better with winglets

(i wish i was down there, some nice aircraf)

Lovely lovely lovely!! Nice and good photos, I am surprised though to see a 743 still in service, (although it will be gone).
