Canon or Nikon?

Hello gents,

I was just curious as of which brand you like more for spotting: Canon or Nikon? It seems as if there are more Nikon users then Canon users, at least here in Dallas. I just got a Canon SLR and I am just blown away at all the increadible features it has packed in it.

Please post your thoughts.

Re: Canon or Nikon?

I second that motion. But I would recomend the Canon 40D with a 70-200mm 2.8 F/ L Lens.

Re: Canon or Nikon?

With Canon you can - but with Nikon you can better!

USA = Nikon land
Europe = Canon land

And don't forget Olympus, Sony, Pentax,...

Re: Canon or Nikon?

That's a tough one. I own both and love them. My wife would probably say Canon though.

Re: Canon or Nikon?

My father lived by Canon through the 80's, and I lived for my EOS until I went digital and went with a Sony (becasue the digital EOS was a bit outside the price range I was willing to pay).
