Re: What an cool livery!

Oh, the other reason the island is disappearing is that the guano was also the source of the islanders' instant great wealth back in the '70's. They mined it because it is a great source of phosphorus and I believe they were the world's leading supplier. Poor investments and the gradual disappearance of their only real export have seen them fall into decline.

I guess their #1 problem is really a #2 problem. Poor guys, their exports have gone down the pooper - heck, at least they have one cool airplane.

Re: What an cool livery!

Another obscure (but cool) livery. Again, apologies for the snapshot of an actual print. This one is NorfolkAir that flies to Norfolk Island off the eastern seaboard of Australia. It is an Australian territory with much better tax laws! The tail livery is a stylized Norfolk Pine. This distinctive tree is unchanged from the fossil record from dinosaur times.

Hope you like!

Re: What an cool livery!

Just happened accross this designers website that rates a variety of new airline liveries being introduced. There are certainly some unusual and new liveries that I have not seen before. Check it ou!

I like those 2 as well. Have you seen the UK International yet? It looks like they are going after the gay market!

That livery is delightful, I wish they had mixed in some pastels and oh my God, a little bit of pink wouldn't hurt. Very tasteful, it looks like that big, long and strong metal airplane would be good enough to ...........

Is a pink color automatically gay?
If yes, I have to change my telephone operator (Telekom)
