Another good place as well as London would be Manchester, Snice they have a viewing park with Concorde etc.

But I think the best place would be London, It would most likely just as cheap to travel on train to London. Theres lots of places in and around London to spot. An idea for the meet would be the Heathrow or Gatwick fairs, which i think finish until 2011 now.

Common guys, DUS is so boring for planespotting. Sure they have a nice terrasse but 80% are AB & LH birds. What about AMS?? This is one of the spotter friendliest airports on this planet.
You are right. I think we should opt for AMS airport as well.
I've been to AMS on several occasions pleasure and business visit, it's one of the Mega Airports, I like to use whenever I can.

Would it be too late to make a poll, by the time we have a winner of spotter airports to visit, it would be too cold, so should we make a spotting/collector's meetup in 2011 instead?

What do you guys think, I'd appreciate if some of you can join this organizing of a meetup as well as inviting W900 Team members to help to set up, whoever have time.

Thank you.

How about LHR and the Renaissance Hotel ? For 20,- Euros a day you get access to the club lounge (no room reservation needed), where you have free soft drinks and the amazing view of the runway; spotting is possible. Internet Access is also there. So one could have a place to meet, drink, no weather worries and a nice runway view altogether !

*Big bump*

If everyone wants to go to AMS, I am more than happy to help organising the meeting. Perhaps we can also arrange a visit to the Aviation Megastore (for those unfamiliar: one of the - if not the - largest aviation store in Europe), which is not far from AMS. Since I'm Dutch, I can work my way from the inside Maybe the best time would be in May, due to weather and vacation peak (the first week of May is a holiday here).

D'oh. I'm not very focussed today.

Winter can be beautiful, but can also be risky because of the weather. Any other ideas perhaps? DUS is fine by me by the way, but I saw some people preferred AMS.

We should. More often than not, the W900 table has been a great center of gravity for forum members and others. This time, of course

I'm with you, the boerse is the perfect moment for a W900 meeting.
