Shops in italy
Hi there,
Next year, as i do every year, i'll be visiting my inlaws in The south off italy. Normaly we fly out there but next year with 2 small children we'll be driving there around 2000km one way trip. With 2 small children we simply have to much lugage and we also have a layover at Rome or milano airport. We cloud fly Ryanair directory to brinisi but there simply is not enoug seatingspace to acomodate me with my Son on my lap! Also lugage Costa a fortune at Ryanair so i Guess this time around we 'll be driving.
Anyway, i'll be staing around 80km south of The town of lecce in The region of Puglia. That's Well down in The heel of italy. I have been looking for model shops for years now yet i,ve never found any. There isn't really a modelling culture down there becouse people are rather poor. Yet stil i managed to find a club for model train enthousiasts. I also stumbled up on a model rc club there. So i Guess there Should be a general modeling shop down there, whitch normaly also has Some planes somewhere.
Anyone Some experience on this?

There was a nice shop in Rome but it's now closed... 
As far I know thre isn't any interesting shop in Genova, Naples or Pisa. There is one in Firenze however

Firenze is About 860km from wher i'm staying. Perhaps i'll swing by when i pass there

Ciao, try Euromodel (Via Perotti 28), i don't know which models they sell but it is a model shop.

There is a model expo in Milan the 23 to the 25th I think I have never been this year will be my 1st I do not know what to expect. But if I see any stores from southern Italy there I will let you know!

My parents went to a store in Firenze called Dreoni Giocattoli, if I remember correctely.
They bought me 2 Herpa models.
That was in 2007, btw...
