Thought i would warn others regarding another member on Wings900 who i would recommend to steer clear of regarding trading.
Wings900 username - Johnny Wadd - email address name - Michael Garrett
The facts are as follows.
Over three weeks ago, to a reply of my want thread for Hugo's ERJ Utopia customs this user PM'd me saying he had two of them. We came to a deal (after he had named one of them wrong which i should have seen as suspicious) and i sent the funds via paypal on the 7th August. The last contact i had from him (he is using two different email addresses) was to say he had the funds and they would be sent the following morning.
I have since had no contact whatsoever over three weeks later, sending at least 10 different emails to both addresses requesting updates,sending date or any information.
I sent a final email 2 days ago warning that if no contact was made within 48 hours i would escalate a paypal claim. After still no contact, today i started reclaim procedures for my funds.
If anyone else has any information regarding this user, deals done in the past or indeed if the user reads this and has an explaination, please let me know!!

Same for me here, he PMed me about a model, then said he got the money and since then nothing. Stay away from this guy! Trying to reclaim my money now.

After getting in this thread, the more I now I will not be receiving the models...

I made a deal with him during the past months for three aircrafts that were paid on the 23rd of July and in theory were shipped from Canada on the 25th of July. More than 4 weeks after the three models have not showed up (Aeroclassics B767-300 Aer Lingus, Aeroflot and LOT).

Even I was suspicious from the first moments because I asked for a picture of the three models and I was told that he had no gigital camera. As we can not use the W900 trading records (comments) of each user, so I decided to give it a go as these models were among my top wished ones.

I have done many deals with many of you from around the world and all what I have sent has reached his collector´s hands, and up to now I had allways received what I had ordered. In my case, I warned him that I had not received the models and he did answer to me the times I have written him, but I am sorry to say that I have the very bad feeling that these models will never show up. I really hope I am totally wrong !!

I have sent you a PM answering your questions re the Paypal reclaim.
Looks like i am not alone.
This b%$&^!@* has answered every want ad and collected up the money, never even having the models, let alone wanting to send them.
Let's hope Paypal can do the business for us!!

I was wondering if the moderators or administrators have a way of tracing IP of said bad traders? Eventually, I think it's possible to trace location unless of course he uses internet cafes. Looks like a long process but maybe helpful to some members who are really determined to hunt down said bad apples of the collectorate.

If you don't have your model by three weeks of payment sent file a paypal claim and keep it active untill you get the model. Paypal always takes the buyer side.

Just wanted to say that Johnny Wadd is the name of a porn star: John Holmes (actor - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

With such a name I would have been suspicious from the begining.

You should all escalate your paypal disputes to claims, fast. The guy won't be cooperative.

I can understand this. But this one was famous for the length of his toy.
I think that in this case is is the "producer" that is refenced too, director & producer of the former one

If you have paid with paypal you should really open a claim. I you have used a credit card, call your bank and cancel the transaction.

Hi there Gary, one can only say good luck to you and the other guys. Does not look good..... I'm not sure what more you can do, but at least my problems with a different seller were resolved with full refunds. (I was just lucky), plus had a mate in HK who knew about my problem seller and now I owe my mate a couple of beers.
It is really a hit and miss affair these days with so many Turds getting involved trying to make a quick buck.
There really does need to be a seperate dispute area or feedback area where all this information can be accessed.

Forget it, the seller never owned any of the models he sold, he probably isn´t even collecting.
We definitely need to get the trader ratings back!
