My Collection -> My Preferences and check/clear the columns you want to see/print.

As waffle stated, this is our working database for logos!

In order to help us, please do the following:
  • Try to scale your logo to 137x32. This will help us a lot! Reformatting and resizing logos can be time consuming.
  • Please make sure the logo you are submitting is either substantially different/better than the one currently in the database. In other words, please search the logo database before submitting them.
  • Please try to enter all the information you can about the logo and airline.
  • If you don't want to be bothered by uploading the logos, searching for info, and just want to help, you can send your logos in a zip file to me (jim@wings900.com) or waffle (waffle@wings900.com) and we will do our best to get them up ASAP.
Please keep in mind that the Database Team will be selecting the appropriate logo for the models in the database. Just because a logo is on airlinelogos.net does not mean it will be the logo for a particular model. Our DB team does a fantastic job and I trust them to make the best decision when it comes to entering models in the DB.

OK I'll Do Just That! Aer Lingus Green Top & Canadian Landor Is First! I'll Add THE EAL European Charter As There Seems To Be None On That Database.

Thanks, but I can't disable some of the columns, like: "+/-", "Other" and "Sell". If you know of a way to disable these columns, please tell me how.

The mandatory columns are:

ID Airline Aircraft Manufacturer Other Edit Sell Del

For +/-, clear the My Settings -> Value Check Box.

When you enter a model, you select the quantity and it automatically inserts the specified number of models in your collection? Or do you want a single row with "X2" or "X3". Personally, when I have several models I don't mind having to go through the process as I ofter flag one as private and the others for sale/trade and so on.

Thanks for your reply Jim. I guess the way I'd like to see it is as a "duplicate entry" button so that if two entries are identical, the data can be entered twice with the push of a single button instead of having to enter all the data fields again. Perhaps it could be placed where the "edit entry again" and "return to my collection" buttons are now?

Thanks, I made the changes and it appears to be loading faster.
BTW: regarding the "Sell" column, I just don't see the purpose of it. Members that do sell items on Wings simply list them on the "models for sale" thread. Maybe I'm wrong, but this column might just be taking space. Thanks again.

I think the value of the "sell" column is that when members do put part of their collection up for sale, then it is easy for them to direct potential buyers to their "view my collection" link so that what's on offer can be easily identified. Seeing models in list form with their W900 ID is helpful when a model has been released in several different versions and it is an easy way of getting a visual of the model for sale instead of having to constantly browse the search & add function to see what the actual model is. Useful feature in my opinion.

Re: Database & MyCollection - What do you want to see?

The sell button is to auto-list on the Wings900 Auctions. This feature will be changed in the next release.

We're taking all of your suggestions and compiling them into our to-do list.

I guess you are right, but for somebody like me, the "Sell" feature has no value. Thus, if I could disable it, it would be one less chunk of info to download evrytime I go to my collection. From what I can see, it looks like FD is already addressing this issue.

Hmm.. it seems you're right most of those are missing. Skymarks & Risesoon aren't updated as frequently usually about every quarter or so. Once the massive database update is completed those models will be added.
