Why aren't Flight Miniatures in the database?
Flight Miniatures (www.flightminiatures.com) produces some nice quality models in 1/150, 1/200, and 1/250 scale (Mostly in that range at least), but they're not featured in the databse. I have acquired several different models and love the quality. They're great for display. The models are similar to Skymarks. I also have several models from Miniwings, but they're not in the database either. Miniwings aren't quite as nice quality, but they're models nonetheless. What's the deal?

The same question can be brought to why there aren't any Armour models or so on and so forth. We get to them the best we can, and over time they will eventually be added. So in other words, the deal is that they aren't in there right now and when we get some time we'll add them in.

Sounds good. I wasn't mad at all or anything like that. I just wondered if those models were purposely left out of the database or something else happened. I am relatively new to the hobby, so when I bought a few of the Flight Miniatures, I was hoping that I wasn't just buying some sub-par models. When I noticed they weren't in the database here, I got a bit worried, just in case I got ripped off somehow.
Anyway, I love the site and think it's phenomenal that I can even have my collection up online and be able to talk to fellow collectors. I didn't even know the site was out there until a couple weeks ago. I know how hard it is to really get the PHP and SQL stuff going on a really large scale (especially to accomodate literally thousands of models in a database). Thanks for such an awesome site and keep up the great work! -Marcus |

Apologies...
I was looking at my first post and realized that my "What's the deal" question may have come across in a quite rude manner. I apologize that I came across that way. That's a common phrase of mine, and I usually ask it in a pretty nonchalant manner. I should've realized it doesn't come across so nonchalant on here. Again, my apologies. Thanks for understanding!

No worries, it's all good too. A bit edgy here too with a long day work in the elements.

I hear ya there... I'm off 4 hours sleep and we're facing 30 inches of snow and 50 mph wind... Gotta love it!
