If I had a 2nd UA 737-800, I would ask Sérgio to make a Copa Airlines bird out of it

The Delta B757-300 is wonderful! Indeed the 200 would be even better... but what can I do? the 757-300 also visits the Caribbean, both DL and UA use it...
Now I remember. I asked Allan once for the model (UA 757) and he found a CO 757 somewhere. I don't know if he can do it again, but you could ask him.

I think the -300 will be a great addition to your airport and perhaps would mean that a 2nd US destination can be linked with WWH, since Delta has so many Hubs.

Great job!
About the Westjet ad, that was the intention!
I had to search for a nice Caribbean pic of happy people, had to search Westjet ads (to see their text font and ad layout) and also a SVG pic of one of their 737s. This one is a 737MAX but I think it could still be used

About that airport pic... i'm sorry to say but this is my goal

Thanks for the compliments, man

Many thanks!

For those still waiting for new pics, i'm so sorry! But this is the reason! My Westjet model still didn't arrive

All international packages arrive in Paraná state (in a city called São José dos Pinhais, or simply Pinhais), in the South region of Brazil. They go through a customs checking and they might be taxed or not. I believe my model wasn't... I hope...
Only after being cleared by customs, the packages are forwarded to their destination cities.
The model arrived here in Fortaleza but still is being held by the Post Service! It is in my city since June 15th and i'm still waiting for the delivery

Brazilian "Correios" is probably one of the companies I dislike the most. They are simply terrible!

I'm checking the tracking code every single day, hopefully my model will arrive this week.
I hope to post the pics on Thursday or at the weekend. Hopefully!

EDIT: Got the model today, June 21st.
Thinking about living in Brazil? Think twice. Model + shipping = 28,88 EUR.

Tax = 60% of 28,88 EUR + 12 Reais to the Post Office (Correios).

I had to pay 81 Reais of taxes, and the model plus shipping cost me already 110 Reais (1EUR = 3,83 Reais).

Living in Brazil is difficult, specially when the government makes us as fools! This is why i'm not buying so many models lately

anyway, now that the model finally arrived, I'll probably post the pics on Thursday or at the weekend, like I said before

Re: Willy White Snowflake Airport (scale 1:500)

Hey Leo!

I have been a long time follower of your thread!
I was wondering if there were some new european-charter carriers starting to service to WWH, such as the Thomas Cook A330, the Edelweiss A330, the Eurowings A330, and TUI airlines 787. I think they would really fit in well with your wonderful airport.
Also are there more JetBlue, American, Delta services going to start?

Keep up the amazing work with this majestic airport! Can't wait to see more!

Thanks man!
Your suggestions are great! Actually Edelweiss is already flying to Snowflake, it's a charter service from Zurich. Check out the previous pages!
The Eurowings A330, Thomas Cook A330 and TUI 787 are wonderful suggestions and strong candidates to my airport. I hope to get these in a near future.

Anyway, 1 month delayed but here we go!

PICS FROM MONDAY, JUNE 13TH, 2016

Speedbird 260 heavy arrives at early morning! The British Airways flight is an early bird, always arriving at sunrise. Seeing here being panned on short finals.

The 777 parked at gate 02, and no activity at the airport...

Rise and shine, B737-400SF! NFS Cargo resting at the cargo terminal.

A few hours later, and finally activity! UPS 767 joins the 737.

Roman's 767 is in town, having arrived two days earlier. Parked up and waiting for his wealthy owner...

Morning activity at the ramp! Things are much busier now!
The British 777 is joined by the good old Delta 767 and other jets.

Push back to Gatwick as Speedbird 261 heavy, POB 227.
British Airways might soonly find competition on their UK route! Thomas Cook and Thomson (TUI) might want to add Snowflake as a new destination...

It seems that someone is on short finals to runway 10... BA 777 and NFS Dash 8 are waiting.

It turns out to be the newest airline in Snowflake! The debut flight of Westjet arrives at the island. Westjet 2680 touches down, ending the flight from Toronto.

A water salute for the first Canadian airline at WWH. Hopefully more will come soonly!

A good overview of the ramp, while Delta 7341 heavy pushes back. This is an interesting flight, still being operated by the old domestic B767-300, which will soonly be retired. We are all wondering which aircraft will replace the 767 in this route!

Feeling Caribbean yet? Noooo, LIAT is still missing! Anyway, a very nice trio at the gates. Westjet, JetBlue and Caribbean Airlines (and the wing of a UA 737-900ER).

El Al 472 heavy arrives after a long haul from Tel Aviv. El Al will not leave Snowflake! However, they'll cut to 1x weekly flight.

A late Delta 9346 is ready for takeoff back to Atlanta, while Caribbean 691 will go to Port of Spain... and the NFS Dash 8 is on a ferry flight to Chira Regional Airport.

Germans in town! Condor 5768 heavy arrives, ending the transatlantic flight from Frankfurt.

Nice lineup at the gates. United 2243 is the B737-900ER going to Washington.

Gol 7480 is the only Brazilian flight at Snowflake. Just arrived from São Paulo via Manaus!

The LH Cargo flight this day was very late and arrived only at night

That's all!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

N E W S

- American Airlines will start a new Miami flight to Snowflake, using a B767-300ER!
The flight will be 3x weekly, on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

American 1024
MIA - WWH / WWH - MIA
Starting on Tuesday, August 02nd, 2016
Boeing 767-300ER
ETA 1600LT ETD 1700LT

- United Airlines will upgrade their flight from Newark! The flight will now be operated by a B757-200.
However, no dates were sent to the DGAA yet. UA is also going to add a flight from Houston, but also no dates yet!

- DHL Air UK flights were all suspended after low profitability. However, DHL is seeking an operator for the route. There are two airlines being considered: Vensecar Internacional, using B737-400SF, and DHL Aero Expreso, using B757-200F.

- El Al will reduce their flight to WWH to 1x weekly, on Fridays. Their flight is also going to arrive and depart at night.

- Edelweiss Air flight is scheduled to end on September 8th, 2016. This was already going to happen, as the flight is a seasonal charter from Zurich.

- Thomas Cook might be interested in flying to Snowflake. TUI Nederland is also...

- Still no news about "that European legacy carrier" that might operate in WWH... same goes for the carrier that could also come back using a different plane...

Re: Willy White Snowflake Airport (scale 1:500)

Another wonderful update as usual.
Love the Westjet 737-800! Is it going to be rivaled by another canadian airline? Air Canada maybe?

I just have one question, the AA 738 doesn't that one also fly to WWH from Miami? I don't know if you agree but I thought it would be cooler to have the AA 763 operated from DFW or JFK to have some different routes to bring more tourists to the dog islands. Let me know what you think.

Just an awsome update Leonardo!!!!:clap :

Great to see that Westjet finally operates to Snowflake! Hopefully Thomas Cook and TUI will come soon because those are truly missing here.

Look forward to the next update!
