Ängelholm-Helsingborg International Airport

Hello all,

I'm proud to present you my airport in 1/500 scale. It's located in southern Sweden, more precisely 6.5km from Ängelholm. The full name of my airport is Ängelholm-Helsingborg "Christian von Koenigsegg" International Airport. The airport has been built to relieve Copenhagen airport. More informations you can find on my website, this isn't completely finished. Ängelholm-Helsingborg International Airport - Home

I must add, the airport isn't finished yet, roads must be added, the runway must be finished, dirt must be added, the hexagonal-terminal-part will get the same "texture" like the rest of T-2A/2B. And so on...

Terminal 2B, this is used for all short/medium-haul operations and all SAS-Long-haul destinations.

Terminal 2A is for all long-haul operations except SAS.

The hangars of Lufthansa Technik Sweden (former SAS-Technics)

The cargo-center for up to two 744F or one 744F and two BAe 146QC

A more precise pic of the short-haul stands at T-2B

The outer-Whiskey-stands, for all planes up to Fokker 100, BAe 146 and Q400

Overview of Terminals 2A and 2B

The spotting-point at the end of RWY 28

This is the Terminal 1, it's used for Charter- and low-cost-airlines.
In the middle there is now already a nice little garden with a little lake with real water!
Pics will follow off course!

So, this was the first presentation, I will add new pics from time to time.

Critism and praise are welcome!

Re: Ängelholm-Helsingborg International Airport

Hi there!
This is your first airport ?! (I dont remember your name in here...XD)
Either if it's true or not, it looks very cool!
I like the location, the great model collection (SAS and Ryanair) and the terminals' management.
Looks very neat and simple- as an airport needs to be!

Thank you for sharing,
Jonathan

Hi there,

Yes, this is my first airport. Thank you for the praise. When my airport is finished and the flightplan is online too, then it will look much better After that I have found 2 MD-82 from SAS, I have 10 SAS-planes at the airport

- 3x A340-300
- 3x A321-200
- 1x MD-90
- 1x A319
- 2x MD-82

Re: Ängelholm-Helsingborg International Airport

First of all, you have a really nice airport. I really like the combination of Herpa and your custom sided buildings, which give a really nice affect. I did notice however, that in your picture of the outer Whiskey stands, there appeared to be an American Eagle ATR taxiing in, which does not make sense due to your airport's location in Sweden. Took a wrong vector at JFK? Still, love your airport, really good work.

Re: Ängelholm-Helsingborg International Airport

Thank you very much for the compliment! I know the American Eagle was just there to make a little bit "life" at at the airport, because I don't have so muchmore ATRs

Re: Ängelholm-Helsingborg International Airport

Nice to see AGH. Been at the real airport so many times...
And as I am working on Halmstad City Airport it is even more fun.

Do you live in Ängelholm?

Ps. Kanske finns det hopp för oss samlare i Sverige ändå. Ds.

Re: Ängelholm-Helsingborg International Airport

Very nice looking airport. The only issue I would bring up is that the gates/taxiways at terminal 1 seem a little too close together. Other than that, fantastic work!

Oh, Klippan is close to the former military base of Ljungbyhed, where I did a part of my conscript service...
More Swedish airports are always welcome

Re: Ängelholm-Helsingborg International Airport

Add some GSE, it will be more real. Just my point of view.

Hi Lollo,

off course I will add GSE, but First I want to finish the airport, the streets, runway and such "smaller" things I must make. Then I will add it, tomorrow I add some pics off the date!

Re: Ängelholm-Helsingborg International Airport

Hello there,

how I said, here you can see some newer pics, sorry for the huge chaos!

Lufthansa Technik Hangar, is it good with those pursuits on the roof? It will not shine trough them, because I make another better roof on it with sand paper

A small overview on Terminal 1, whiskey-stands, hangar of LHT and the Cargo-Center

All SAS-planes at the terminal

The spotting point, just a newer pic

The garden inside Terminal 1, at the brown field there will be a outside restaurant, when the weather is better In the lake I will add some water and you can walk until where the grey field ends, there will be a fence

I hope you like my airport, and how you can see, I have started to make the streets, all straight-roads are finished, now I must fix the curves

Re: Ängelholm-Helsingborg International Airport

Hello Adam! Very nice airport!
As told before the taxiways are too close to the Terminal 1 and the place where he F-100s are parked, there isn't enough clearance for widbodies to taxi. Also the parking position are too close to each other, regional jets with greater span than the F-100 cannot park there.
For the water on the lake use clear resin to give the best water effect.

Off topic: sorry for no more chat with you on msn, I'm too busy. The donors arrived safely in Brazil, thank you very much for your work on the LH 763! I'm still waiting for the decals, they are taking too much to arrive, thus I'm late on finishing my first orders. Once your Adria A320 and Malev 736 customs are finished I'll let you know.

See ya,
Sergio
