Hello everyone, I am new to the model airport game and have started by making a spoof website and I am now in the throws of creating the model.

I am having huge problems with getting a decent groundfoil, can anyone suggest a good place that I could download or purchase?

hello you could go on the gemini jets or herpra airport site but for my model airport i drew my own on a big pice of wood and added homemade terminals and what not.

The site is nice.
But you cant really take all stuff from Heathrow Airport site and put it in your airport site.
Its pretty much illigal and it's not really creative..
All the idea of the model airport is creativity. XD
maybe try design some by yourself, and do so in the airport.
It's much nicer to creat your airport..if you'll but Herpa or Gemini Jet's so you cant add anything after for the airport couse the mat (foil) wil make anything looks not cool or strange..

Thanks for the tips. I have looked at these sites but cant find anything that really suits what I want to do. I am no good at drawing my own ground foil so will keep looking. Someone told me that a member out there has some excellent ground foils which are word documents that can be altered to suit, so hopefully I can source them.

Thanks for the advice. I did seek permission to use the clips that have been taken from other websites, and plan to make it more personalised as soon as possible. I have just used these to get it up and running for now. Its just a bit of fun. Thanks for your comments.
