iPod evolution of an airport

I wanted to share the evolution of an airport I have been working on. From the very first one to the one I'm finishing.

First one, I use wood as the terminal and water markers, nothing to fancy, but turn out good to be my first proyect.

After this I decided to change the terminal. I covered it with some blue tape for the terminal color and black tape for the windows, added some lights and outside view of the terminal, did a better job than the first one. All the floor markings where made with permanent markers and oil pastels.

made some remote points.

Then I decided to make the ground marking better so painted everything black and decided to remove the right side of the terminal.

after this I realized there was to much space for only five planes, so added more jetways, and painted gray some areas.

added more details

and fixed the outside.

to be continued...

Re: evolution of an airport

First is a tad bit sloppy but the detail on no. 2 is far better and the overall impression is far more professional. The jetway for the aeromexico MD-80 doesn't really look like it fits right (thank GJ for that because their jetways don't have an adjustable "sock" that fits on to the aircraft like real jet bridges do. Anyways, good job. Clean up some areas just a little. Do you have plans to further evolve your airport?

Re: evolution of an airport

Nice to see the evolution but it still needs some fine tuning.

The new airport looks cool.
Sadly, AeroMexico has a new livery so you need more models to replace the old-livery ones...XD

Re: evolution of an airport

As I can see from your gangays, you have an 1:400 airport..
I have a LAN B737 that would be fit perfectly to your airport, but Its 1:500.

Gracias por tus comentarios.
Yo compro mis accesorios y aviones en San Diego, en Horton Plaza esta la tienda de Ez-toys, una tienda bastante grande. Otra opcion es comprarlos en internet.
