First I really wait for the details. I am a really big Thai fan! So keep us update please!

Matt109 is right, from 24 October EVA AIR (BR) will fly with B777-300 from TPE-BKK-VIE.

Somebody mentioned Emirates they using A380 and 777 as well!

Nobody mention Aerosvit 767, ok I know they don't have model yet! Just a custom on my shelf!

So please if you have pictures please post to us!

Yes, I believe that it's two companies that work together to make a particular jet. Like Gemini Jets sometimes work with Schuco, especially on the DC-10. It may be better asking another, more informed/senior member on here, but that's my hunch anyway.

Have you thought about, I know it sounds childish... but it REALLY DOES work: paper/fabric maiche. I made a really authentic WWII maintenance hangar with it for my 1:48 model It is very versatile, especially when it comes to shape, and can be painted/weatheredc very easily with chalks and thinned out oil paints.

To The Creator: Use one of the many "maps" websites with a measuring tool, divide by 500, and there is your answer.

Use whatever planes you want....it's YOUR airport.

Don't forget to post pics of your progress.

Have a nice day all!

Evergreen Plastics makes a clear sheet specifically designed to duplicate windows.

Get yourself a good x-acto knife with a load of refills....a Stanley Knife is a bit too large and cumbersome for minute cutting details.

Evergreen also makes strips of varying widths so you can seperate your windows, or you can lightly score the clear sheet with your knife to make it look like two panes of glass closely seperated.

DON'T USE TOO MUCH GLUE!

Re: Bangkok International Airport (Suvarnabhumi) 1:500

Here are some pictures of the foundations of the terminal..around this I will use plastic sheets and then I will add the covering.
You can see in the pictures the shape of the building, you can see I made two leveles-upper one connected to the main terminal and lower one attached to the gangways.

This is great work on a very complex terminal. Any curved structure, especially in these small scales, is very difficult to recreate. Good job!! pete

Re: Bangkok International Airport (Suvarnabhumi) 1:500

Wow! crazy work by someone.
Unbeliveable someone can really make something like this-even LEGO comany themselves.
Nice shot ..but cant really help.XD

I've done doing the glass cover on the airport, and now Im thinking about the cover of the glass itself-using kind of plastic ****s... I've bought a Herpa Set of 2 double gangways and 2 single gangway. It can help and support to the other 10 singels I already have.XD

Re: Bangkok International Airport (Suvarnabhumi) 1:500

I wanted to share with you the latest news...
I put simple chirstmas tree lights in the airport, and it looks great,
I put the gl*****-which looks great with the lights...
and I'm pretty much having problems with the covering.
The terminal building made on hard card-board stracture, I dont want want it to be seen.
That's why Im trying to hide it by the covering..but some wrong calculation works made it pretty much hard to be made...
Im using kind of card board made by white plastic, and I have some provlems makde it stay on the windows, working on this.
About the aircrafts- I've bought some new jetways, but couldnt get any THAI models..I hope I'll get one in the close time.

Re: Bangkok International Airport (Suvarnabhumi) 1:500

I had problems with uploading pioctures to the forum since they are too big, so I'm attaching here a link to an album in my other airport's site, showing the pictures of the airport at the moemnt, with the covering:
Bexley International Airport - Bangkok airport

Hope you enjoy!
Does anyone has tps for me about the srange gangways in the real airport?
I dont know how to custom Herpa's gangways (1:500 scale) into the airport's gangways.

Nice pictures! Well done!

About the gangways, you can find two picture here:
Suvarnabhumi hscb image by christao17 on Photobucket
Suvarnabhumi gate image by Speedbird777 on Photobucket

Sometimes they put HSCB logo on it as well! http://ivory.vnunet.com/images/hsbc-logo/medium.jpg
the logo in a red square, like in here: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_lYGmyP9d4X...Hg/s320/a1.JPG

Or AOT logos like here: Imageshack - zbaakl3.jpg

I was on Suvarnabhumi in June, but I don't see the anything because I arrived and departed in the evening!

Good luck!

Thank you!
I have been to the airport some monthes after its opening at 2006.
My problem is not how would it look, its just that the gangways are far more long and has very sharp edges in it, not as Herpa's gangways. What should I do about it?
