It has been quite enjoyable watching the progress of this airport from start to finish. You have done a great job; I especially like the details on the custom ground foil, and of course, the lighting. Excellent airport!!

Thanks! The lights were a lot of work but I knew it would pay off in the end. Now I am in desperate need of GSE !

I get most of the really rare ones off of eBay but sometimes I find a dealer who has some left.

Thanks!
I actually made a huge mistake by displaying the Continental Connection D-8 and the CRJ-700's(they weren't around in 98') but I took them off of the airport.

Yes, I agree, this is very nice work and it's nice to see as it evolves.

By the way Southwest Airlines, have you managed to order the T Gauge train you had planned for it? My retailer has the Kiha 40 (thought it's a 1 car unit now) and the Hankyu 9000s (4 car unit) in stock now!

Hey, model plane manufactures, how about some Braniff PZL 230Fs.

Re: Plans and Progress on Frank Luke Jr. Regional airport

Why don't you add a little bit of grass between taxiways and runways? It will be more real, am I wrong?

Well most airports in the western U.S. don't use grass in those areas. Look at Phoenix and Las Vegas, LAX.

Re: Plans and Progress on Frank Luke Jr. Regional airport

I just got done installing the last of 150 blue lights on this airport! My lighting work is almost done, I just have to touch up the stop bar fiber optics and make sure everything is secure. Here's some pics.
*Please note:
In some of the pictures not all of the lights are on, there's approx. 30 different strands of lights on this airport and while working I do not turn all of them on.
