I still buy the NWA planes and I will continue to buy them because I like the design and they could be worth something one day. I just park my NWA planes at the Delta gates at my airport and I got rid of the NWA gates. Also a lot of the NWA/Delta planes are still painted in the NWA livery and they probably won't all be repainted for a couple of years.

I'm keeping my NWA model. I bought that model with the money worked from my own fair hands, down by the River Gardens, paid community work does no harm

The other reason for keeping them is SENTIMENTAL VALUE, most of us buy models because we like them, not many of us buy them for the hell of it [!], and even with the NWA fleet being repainted--> I will still be still be operating the NWA B747-400 direct service to MIN, daily!
