Anyone Have the New Gemini Jetways?

Hey does anyone out there have the new Gemini Jetways and if so, do they look alright next to 1:500 airplanes??? I'm VERY curious about this since these jetways have such great detail.

Re: Anyone Have the New Gemini Jetways?

Hello there! I have the jetways from the Gemini terminal set, they're the same ones, and a few 1:500 scale models from back in the day (way, way back in the day). I'm usually really "liberal" with scaler measurements on airports (since in real life buildings and jetways can vary in size dramatically) but I think the Gemini jetways are too big for 1:500 scale aircraft. You could essentially use them for the larger planes like the 747's and 777's but the jetways still look too large. But if you were planning on using them for smaller aircraft like 737's and A320's then I'd say forget it. The jetways are much to large for aircraft of that size, I'd just stick with Herpa's 1:500 scale ones. They're not that bad and actually quite similar to Gemini's in many ways.
