2 hour project

I decided that I had some free time today, so i made this little airport in about 2 hours. it's jsut a quick little thing, and i might expand on it. the next one I make will be out of a better paper, so that it's better quality and doesnt have the folds. here it is:

Re: 2 hour project

as mentioned in another thread, I have continued on with my 2 hpur project, now a 2 hour and 15 minute project. I started in the afternoon, and I have already added another section. here it is, it's version 2. Version 1 was shown earlier. here are some comparison shots. which one do you think is better? Version 2 is different in that it has a wavy roof, it's wider, and is taller. version 1 has an arched roof.

anyone have any ideas for a version 3?

Isn't that hard, Just takes some folding and cutting (as well as some tape and glue, unless you used my concept in 1986 NWL and cut slots and tabs, which work pretty well, a mixture of all three methods might be best if you want it to stay like that forever.) Anyways, great to see that someone helped advance the use of paper buildings, I'm tellin ya all, Paper is the way of the future in Model Airport building!

Hey, model plane manufactures, how about some Braniff PZL 230Fs.

Re: 2 hour project

It's more than 2 hours long now, maybe 2 hours and 30 minutes. Ive quickly built 2 more structures. One is a much larger terminal building, using the wave roof (LHR) with windows that slant inwards instead of going straight down (PVG). I've also created a skybridge to link separate terminals (DEN). Now, my next one will be a main check-in terminal. It's gonna be big.

Re: 2 hour project

That jetbridge is very nice!! Makes your airport look a whole lot better. Keep using the paper as I love what you're doing with it!

Re: 2 hour project

thanks

So now I've run out of ideas. What kind of terminal, that's reasonably simple, do you think i should make? like what real airport? I have my main terminal almost finished now.

So now I've decided to actually make an airport with these. Which ones do you think i should duplicate? theres'a version 1-3, and now the main terminal.
