Hey, how did we get off the topic?, we are supposed to be talking about WN737's airport - check it out everybody, it's turning out to be a work of art.
You started it

Sorry WN737. Your airport's coming in amazingly well. Keep the great work up.

Smart boy. I started it and now I'll stop it. Back to San Luis Obispo (DGX)

This Airport is going to be amazing! I can't wait to see the whole thing! But no JetBlue OR Aloha? Oh well...I'm sure it will still be amazing without them!

I might get a couple jetBlue planes, but I don't plan to have Aloha serve DGX, just Hawaiian.

And for those of you who might be wondering the new flights and airlines I have in mind for DGX are...

Alaska (PDX, SEA)
Continental (IAH)
Delta (ATL)
Hawaiian (HNL)
Northwest (DTW)
Southwest (MDW, SNA, ONT, BUR, SJC, DEN)
United (ORD)

And for the big kicker, I plan to have a US Airways mini-hub with express opperations to smaller California markets and mainline flights to larger cities on the west coast.

Bring Blue to DGX! I had a few ideas for other possible destinations if you're taking suggestions? Salt Lake flights on Delta Connection and Minneapolis on Northwest. That's it...just my two cents

I actually do have flights on both airlines. They are part of the ones i'm starting with. Those were just ideas for future flights.

But I am really thinking about getting JetBlue planes. They look really nice.

For the grass, I bought Woodland Scenics modeling grass. You sprinkle it on to the "Scenic Cement", which is pretty much white glue and water. I've used it in the past and it looks pretty nice. I'm not going to use what I used on my last airport, Epit Int'l.

I'll continue posting pictures and it progresses.
I can't find your website, I'm kind of new here and I would like to see your pictures. Thanks

Sorry dude, I deleted the website over a year ago when I deconstructed the airport. Here are the only two photos I have of the "finished" airport:

http://www.wings900.com/vb/model-air...ng-photos.html

For anyone else who's wondering, I am working on a new, similar project. This time, I will incorporate the use of the new Gemini Jet's airport terminal as well as custom buildings and a custom tarmac. Progress has been slow but will likely start to speed up in the coming months. So stay tuned.
