WN737, This airport looks AMAZING! I can't wait to see it all put together! And on the topic of building terminal buildings for sale...I would be interested as well! I've got the jetways if you've got the time!

Thanks for the nice replies everyone! I do have a website for my airport, click the picture in my signature, and will have many photos on it once it is completed. For the grass, I bought Woodland Scenics modeling grass. You sprinkle it on to the "Scenic Cement", which is pretty much white glue and water. I've used it in the past and it looks pretty nice. I'm not going to use what I used on my last airport, Epit Int'l.

I'll continue posting pictures and it progresses.

That grass is pretty cool. I'm using that on SPR too. I used it on WHI and it's a pain to clean but it turns out very nice. You have done a great job with EPT, can't wait to see what the finished San Luis Obispo looks like.

Great job

Ted

WN737 is flying under the radar
Update: Sunday, October 15, 2006

Alright, here are some preview pictures of what the grass looks like. I won't post an overview until I'm completely finished with the airport. I just need to paint the buildings and add the lines, yellow taxi-way markings and white runway markings.

Tell me what you think.

It looks awesome so far. I can't wait to see the terminal painted. Also, your website is amazing. I especially lile the detailed plans of the lower and upper floors at the terminal - very realistic.

Thanks. I'll have the terminal painted soon and will post pictures shortly after.

Could you believe that I made the terminal map using Microsoft Paint? It took a while but I'm happy with the result.

Out of curiosity, I've never heard of MS Paint, is it part of another MS program? I'm running Windows XP and have MS Office and can't find MS Paint.

It's actually just called "Paint". You can get there by clicking Start, All Programs, Accessories, and Paint.

Thanks, I found it and I'm tinkering with it. My kids think I'm a dumb*** for not knowing it was there.

I figured you would, my oldest will be your age in December. BTW, I've also repeteadly lost my address bar, clock and all sorts of computer applications, files and programs, so it helps to have six boys that are more computer literate than me (well, maybe not the 3 year old)

Nearly my age? If he's just as troublesome as me, you're going to have a tough time.

So far, so good. Good grades, good friends, starting winger/midfielder on his High School Soccer team, nice girlfriend, but a bit lazy.

Hey, how did we get off the topic?, we are supposed to be talking about WN737's airport - check it out everybody, it's turning out to be a work of art.
