Vintage Airport Board

This heavy cardboard, folding airport runway play mat came with Remco's Voice Control Kennedy Airport, introduced in 1968. I have had this one since I was little. I also have the entire boxed set stored away. It had a plastic terminal that contained a turntable and tone arm to play small records. The kid could listen to the ATC and effectively manage arrivals + departures.

Did any of you have one of these back then?

I remember having that as a kid, and had non-stop fun with it. That picture really brought back some great memories!

Re: Vintage Airport Board

I remember when I was a kid living in Alaska, my Dad had to fly back to NY for his Fathers Funeral and bought me the Kenner guirder airport set.

Clearly, when this thread was started in 2005 it did have pics posted. It has come back from the grave!!!

(I wish people wouldn't resurrect ancient threads unless they really have something useful to contribute to the topic)
