Obar Dheathain...i love your country and your history (William Wallace and so on). Three times i have been to Scotland, three times driving a Ford Focus all along your perfect roads (despite the climate in Scotland: in Rome there are 300 days of sun during the year and potholes on the roads that look like pits!).

Here is a few more.
This is Eileen Donan Castle, famous from the film Highlander.
The spectacular Black cuillin ridge on the Isle of Skye. It is one of the most challenging ridges in Britain for Climbing.
A view from atop a hill on the isle of Harris looking across at An Cliseam, the highest mountain on the island.
This was a beautiful beach we found in Harris, the sand was AMAZING!
A final one, looking across at Skye from Harris.

Been a while since I posted here.
Now that we are in December it is getting quite cold here and we had our first snow of the year earlier this week.
Don't worry Deeside wasn't on fire the sun was just spectacular.
Some more walking last weekend meant that more pics were taken.
A cool moon.
