I suppose it depends on the airport and arrangements worked out by your airline, but sleeping in the terminal doesn't seem like a very good practice, are you really going to have a solid rest there? Remember, you've got 160 passengers and crew to care for, you need to be at your best. Just today there was an Air Berlin aircraft that declared PANPAN and stated that they were going to auto land as the crew were too fatigued to do it manually. Just some food for thought, as a pilot it is your duty to get proper rest, and your airline should give you the chance for such rest.
