A greek legend becomes a home
Have you ever seen this idea?
An OLYMPIC AIRWAYS B727 turned into a home! I know MOST of us have dreamed of such a creation, I know I have! This guy ACTUALLY did it! Well, is seems he has still way to go, and I don't see any progress of it the past 8 years. Here is his web page AirplaneHome.com - A Boeing 727-200 Home Project

Re: A greek legend becomes a home
Alex, are you looking for a new home for the young familiy or just some additional space for your large Lufhansa collection ?
For a complete home you should better look for a widebody, at least an A310 or bigger. But if you want ot put the a/c in your garden behind the house, a 727 is a nice idea. Wasn't there an old Olympic 727 parked on the old airport in Glyfada ? Once you're finished, let me know, I'll come to your housewarming party

![]() Yes there is a B742 and a B722 parked on the old airport. Rumor has it that they are thinking of creating an Olympic airways museum out of those two. Maybe now that they are more serious as an airline, that may become an option. |

Now you know why our Economy is trashed ![]() Yes indeed that first guy has put a LOT of planning and organizing into his dream! Its impressive. Sadly though, I don't see any news after 2002. I would agree with Silverbird. A wide body, roomier! In the 727 area were you can stand upstraigh is limited. Then again those engines on the wings are huge.. maybe you could make 2 Garages out of those in a engine lookalike ( for a smart car )
