Back when I was 10 my school marks were pretty pathetic and I really didn't care. Then when I turned 11 I got hooked on aviation and wanted to become an airline pilot. Suddenly my school marks shot up big time!
I think an interest in aviation helps in ALL school subjects!
math, geography, political science, physics, communications, history, business, mechanics etc... (I don't know about home economics) - I guess sewing canvas together on the vintage planes might count? Sound good?
Just want to let all the parents out there know that it is good to foster your child's interest in aviation.
As it turned out - I didn't become an airline pilot but thats "life".
