Hello !
Here's the webpage I have as a model wishlist. The HTML code is really really basic. I copypasted a small piece of HTML at the end of the code every time I wanted to add an airplane, and just had to modify the airliners.net picture ID and the description. I'm sure web designers can do much better, but I like my minimalistic wishlist. You can use the source of the HTML page direclty. The copypaste sections are shown there. I can also write a Java program to enter the picture ID and description in a user-friendly interface, and to update the HTML code automatically. It's small and easy on the bandwidth (thanks airliners.net), so I could put it in a free host service. 1:500 I have created a similar page for the airliners corresponding to my models (there are only the first models of my collection for now). This way I can compare the models with the real planes over and over again and be happy to find no differences . Other uses : showing to friends or shutting down a colleague who thinks that a particular model looks "imaginary" or that a particular livery never existed.1:500 I like the "right-side, left-side, just-nice-photo, description" pattern, but you may use whatever you like. Good night everybody. Amir. |
