Hey rapleylikeba and bme, I was fourteen years old and mad about planes once and look where it got me - 46 years old and mad about planes. Oh, and they have given me a good living for quite a long time now

Rapley... I would like to commend you for your enthusiasm. Its hard to find your place amongst all the members around here. Keep sharing your ideas and listen to what everyone else says. You'll find your place and learn alot...

I'm sure it feels like people are giving you a hard time but believe it or not they are trying to get you into the way of the forum as quickly as possible. As has already been said-new members are welcome and the great thing about our hobby is it knows no age limits.

Can i also suggest you change your signature regarding apologies. You have made your apologies-and for that you will/have earned respect. Don't labour the point the point-it takes away from your good actions.

I was talking to Rammstein on the chat earlier and he doesn't want to accept it. Yes I have been a little sh*t recently and yes I have pestered people but I want people to know.

If someone doesn't want to accept your apology-that's their choice. You've made the effort and most will appreciate that and don't worry about the others that don't

I really think you shouldn't worry about it. As furryforest said, you apologized, and as far as I'm concerned, everything is fine. Don't spend all your time trying to apologize and whatnot, just enjoy the forums.

I honestly don't find you that annoying or anything. I was a little annoyed at your pal BME for posting about 30 times the other day on every forum for the sole purpose of running his post count up, but other than that I think your enthusiasm and love for the hobby is great. Remember to just try and listen to some of the members of the forum on some of the issues we've touched on, and you should be fine.

You have some good qualities for someone your age. Your spelling and grammar are great, compared to many young posters. Just work on making sure your posts are well thought-out and that they contribute, and you will fit in fine here.

I guess it's time for the next wave of forum posters to become crochity old fartknockers and dis on the noob's for excessive posting just to bump their titles.

The cycle seems to come full circle about every 18-24 months. Funny how it works that way. I think this is the fourth cycle now that I can remember; anyone else keeping track?

If changing this will make things better, then why not? It is something I personally never considered. I generally post only when I have something to say. As a counterpoint, though, I would like to add that in the overall scheme of things this is the least of my worries!

I definately think it's been more then 4 cycles, anyone remember when good ol me and EI-DUB were post whorring the whole damn forums to race to like 2k or something like that? Ah the good ol days.

Are you taking about me?!?!?!?! Because if you are you should get your facts cleared and prove it. If you are talking about how I haven't posted anything that you can see you are right... But no one else can see because I really haven't posted anything withing the past couple of days. Reasons. 1) been buissy. 2) don't see anything worth adding on to. 3) Just tierd of all of these people who just post to post. no reason they just add on. + the fact that people also don't know how to use the edit button that you can change a post that you posted 3-4 minutes ago and not post a whole nother one.

Even though I havn't been around as long as you, though I always viewed each year more like a graph of sin(x) between 0 and 2 pi, with the maximum parts of the Amplitudes being the "hight" of a "NooB wave season" than a full circle lasting some 1.5 to 2 years (with the positive Amplitude being in late March/early April and the negative ones being at late September/early October). Lately though, it has felt more like it had become a graph of sin(2x) (four NooB wave seasons). If anyone needs graphical represenatation, I think I can work that out.

Either way though, I still feel that we need to do something about the user title system. I really don't wanna see Wings go down and people leave just because someone wants to be a "RJ capitan."

Many have admitted that is why they post so obnoxiously, when you compare it with DA.C, which tends to be more popular and larger (or so it seems) and also lets you set your own "title ranks", you don't notice those issues coming up. It seems like if you place two and two togeather, it may lead one to believe that it may have to do with the user title ranks, which is where I am on this issue.
