Got to love the scania, the bottom pictured truck is only a releif one however while our areial get some well earned care, gives you quite the rough ride. Turns out the suspension mounts are missing so you get that flintstone feel when your winging it along to a housefire. the newer one pictured above is a dream to be in

Its funny because my father, who is a Lt. for Des Plaines Fire Department ( a suburb right next to Chicago) wears those same boots. What is you water capacity on those rigs and what is your maximum GPM on the Engine? I ask only because I think it is pretty interesting to see different FF equipment from around the globe. C-Rex, Thankyou bro... It is tradition for my son and I... We go to an airshow together at least once a year. We want to make it a goal to see the blue Angels every year... We got to meet and get autographs from 4 of the 6 Blue Angels.

You look like you are having fun in both of your pics! How would the Mrs feel about being sandwiched between a couple of hotties???

Thanks for your interest, yes it is interesting on how we all do the same job around the world and use similar equipment.

Our smaller pumpers as the one pictured carry about 1500L of water, now depending on what size hose your using and how high you have the pressure, you can have anywhere from 30 seconds to a staggering 5 minutes of use with that, that gives the driver plenty of time to tap into a mains source and cut in with a secondary supply. great news if your on the end of the branch inside a buring building doing S&R.

No i cant say that I have had the pleasure of riding in any overseas vehicles yet. Maybe as I travel and compete I will do that.

How cool. I'd like to do the same like you and your son once I get a copy of my own too I will probably give all my models to him.

About that picture, She wasn't with us that day we went to the car show, I wished it was her I had on my side, I didn't want to go home without model shots, so these two hotties did do just fine
