Today's uniforms consist of beige skirts with blazers worn over a white blouse:


They then put on aprons inflight:



The domestic FA uniforms are similar except that they do not wear blazers/ coats:

Aaaaah Cougar - I know what you're thinking but I think it is just the lens. (It comes from a book that I have just purchased - more pics will follow with appropriate credits.)

Here are the Beatles at London Airport on 7 June, 1964. Just in from Schiphol and heading (via BOAC) to concerts in Hong Kong. Ringo is missing - I think with tonsillitis.

The hostie is Anne Creech - a fellow Liverpudlian - and George looks like he is loving the attention he is getting.
