Starting a new little mini-series today...

Air Hostess Dolls

There have been an enormous number of Air Hostess dolls made over the years and I will return to them from time to time as I have a vast number on file.

One of the most interesting is a series of 10 Anime figures made for All Nippon Airways by Kaiyodo in 2005. I was hoping to pick up a set in Korea last year but they are already becoming scarce. They track the development of the ANA hosties' uniform over the last 50-odd years.

Today is the first in the series: ANA, 1955

... now, if only we could get our wives/girlfriends to collect these...
