I agree with Cliff, while there's a place for fantasy & 'Halloween' type uniforms, I really liked how this thread had a historical/fashion interest to it rather than silly girls playing dressups-where are the REAL FAs?? Most FAs I know wouldn't be caught dead in those outfits, sure I've gone to Halloween as an FA and I've worn a uniform for my boyfriend once but it was a real one

Anyway, it's fine if you guys like that but not everyone does. It's really quite difficult to get rid of the 'cheap and easy' image that some people have of us, all those kinds of pictures sure don't help! Look, a 'tarty FA' outfit is one thing, just about showing one's breakfast to the world is another!!!

Guys, I understand your point of view, but to me a woman is even more beautiful in "normal" clothes than in these cheap looking "outfits".

OK - I have to apologise for neglecting my thread for so long. Other issues have demanded my time, but I think it's time I stepped back in.

Although there have been occasional titillating pictures of fantasy stewardesses, I have steadfastly avoided using the thread as a vehicle for soft (or in the case of Dorcel Airlines hard) porn. There are other sites for viewing that sort of thing. Whilst I have a great deal of pics of fantasy uniforms - some of which are most deserving of being shared here and will be in small doses - it is not the general thrust of the thread I am trying to maintain.

I have a HUGE catalogue of photos that I plan to share, but it is not my intention to simply dump great quantities of them here - it would soon get very boring. I hope that I can maintain your interest by mixing up the variety so that the thread does not go stale and so that there is a good chance that you may all see something new or different from time to time.

That said, please accept my apologies for the long break away. I need to finish the history of the JAL uniforms but, as I'm away from home at present, will need to post a few fillers until I get back.

This is a uniform that I particularly like. It resonates with the colours of a bygone era when colour dominated the aisles of aircraft in the early 70's but doesn't look garish.

Sorry to hijack the thread a bit but I just had to share my newest uniform discovery....

I think this is my new favourite, how cute! Stylish yet the purple colour keeps it modern.

This is the uniform of the just-passed-1-year-old WATANIYA AIRWAYS of Kuwait

I think it's very stylish, though the hat looks almost just like Qatar's

The dress on the girl 2nd from right is more 'fitted' than you usually see for a Middle Eastern airline

At the launch of Vienna services:

(Someone needs to tell girl on far right to buy new shoes heheheh)

Wataniya fly with A320, fitted out with Premium Economy and First Class seating. The service gets good reviews on airlinequality.com and I hear the working conditions for the cabin crew are very good.

People used to nickname Etihad "Flying Purple People Eaters" after the song, but I think Wataniya crew really look like this nickname, purple and cute and they fly

I flew with Flybe at the weekend and came across one of the most attractive air hostesses i have ever seen-real jaw dropping stuff. Sadly no camera but what made me even more proud, turns out she is from Northern Ireland.
