They are fantastic shots - the first two I hadn't seen before. Amongst my Martinair shots is one I really love - even though it is in B&W... It was a publicity shot released when Martinair revealed their new uniforms in 1982.

When I finish my little military series, I will have to post some pics of the Gals in Green - Transavia. Stay tuned!

Re: Air Hostesses

Continuing the military cabin crew theme, today's feature is the Lufttransportstaffel of the Luftwaffe.

The Luftwaffe operates VIP transport from both Cologne/Bonn and Berlin under the auspices of the Flugbereitschaft BMVg (Flight Readiness of the Ministry of Defence). The fleet includes a A310-300VIP, CL Challengers and Cougar helicopters. It is due for upgrade to 2 A319, 4 Bombardier Global 5000 and 2 used A340-300 aircraft. In addition to VIP work, the squadron does troop movements and Medevac deployments as well.

Re: Air Hostesses

Within the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF), cabin crew are called Flight Stewards, regardless of gender. They serve on the RNZAF's B757 aircraft. Most are female.

It is an AAR refueling pod, which is a host inside, that can be extended from the pod.
Usually these aircrafts is a dual-role a/c. For transport and re-fueling tanker.

See A310 refueling Tornadoes .

Yeah - she is a honey. Here's one more...

Tried to find out if their are hosties on RAF 32 (The Royal) Squadron, but best I can tell the squadron seems to have an all-male personnel. Best I could manage for you was this shot of two ATC cadets inside the BAe-146 that the UK uses for VIP and Royal flights (actually sitting on the seat that Her Majesty uses when she flies).

As a consolation I did find this pic of volunteer models out at RAF Northolt, where the squadron is based, promoting Red Boxes to be sent at Christmas for British troops serving in the Middle East.

Re: Air Hostesses

Today the Czech Republic Air Force.

The 421st Transport Squadron operates the Airbus A319CJ as well as Bombardier Challenger aircraft. The air stewardess uniform includes the choice of slacks or skirt with mid-calf black leather boots!

Re: Air Hostesses

Time for a little intermission before finishing off this little military FA series - a return tonight to civil aviation.

Today's pic is dedicated to my mate Kevski (a_loser) who is seldom seen and even more seldom heard! Hope you're well, Big Fella!

Re: Air Hostesses

The Air Force of Zimbabwe seems to have chartered (or acquired) this GulfStream III for a VIP visit to South Africa. The air stewardess is seen in the aircraft. They also fly a BAe-146.
