Very stereotypical.. I'm not like that. They are the minority of youths in today's society, not all of them.. and especially not me! LOL
Cheers

Re: Air Hostesses

If you seen how kids were back when Emil and I were kids you'd see what I mean. You may be the exception to the rule and that's great! Good for you! Keep up the good work!!!

Re: Air Hostesses

Now now boys - we're straying off topic!

Today, a lesser-known airline from France - L'Avion.
Just as elegant in the uniform stakes as Air France for mine.

Wahoo!!!

What's this? You got a boyfriend and didn't tell us!?!

Sorry sulbull, but we never let a chance to 'smack' Wahoo go by without taking it! It's a self defence measure, you see.

Welcome to Wings 900 sulbull. It's nice to have you aboard. You'll find a lot of really nice guys here. And some, like me, who aren't too tightly wrapped.

Best regards,
.... Brian....

AND NOW ..... BACK TO THE TOPIC.

Re: Air Hostesses

Say "Cheese"!

Whilst print magazines have had plenty of advertisements with hosties in them and I've previously posted a range of chocolates with classic pics of stewardesses on them, recently I have uncovered these labels that adorn French Camembert cheeses. Many of the cheeses have distinctive labels and these are often sought-after by collectors (Cheese900!).

These two are from Besnier Laval at Mayenne and the local co-operative in Reignac in the Loire valley. Besnier Laval is one of the largest and more famous cheese manufacturers in Normandy. The stewardess label was short-lived and the company soon reverted to its more famous and iconic brand for Le Voyageur.

Doc:
I've been away for a bit and don't know if anybody else has suggested this, but you should seriously consider writing a book on the subject. You've clearly done massive amounts of research, so a lot of the difficult leg work is done. It would be a niche market type of book, but very appealing to aviation and History buffs alike.

I have thought about it and may eventually get around to it one day. There are actually plenty of books out there already and I have a little section in my library that is growing slowly. I am sure I could put a new spin on the topic, but would probably need to get a lot closer to some of the source material. If it ever eventuates, you and Wahoo will get the first 2 copies before I go on the talk circuit!

For now, here is another little offering from the subcontinent...

Air India

Oh, and a teaser for tomorrow... It's that time of year again and the RyanAir charity calendar for 2010 has been released. Stay tuned for the pics tomorrow.

I can't wait, I sure hope Michael O'Leary is in it.

He's the good looking one on the right, obviously.

Re: Air Hostesses

Ah, Emil - you've stolen my thunder!

I guess I will just have to settle for showing you the girls of RyanAir that have stripped down to promote the airlines third annual calendar to raise money for charity.

First in their uniforms...

Then going...

Gone!

Tomorrow come the calendar pics!

Re: Air Hostesses

You have to appreciate the natural beauty. These appear to not have been photoshopped, airbrushed, re-touched or manipulated in any way. You can see real women with real "imperfections" and I, for one like it!

Sorry Doc, I called the folks at Ryanair and tried to hook you up with April, but it looks like she's booked. Apparently some big shot golfer had made prior reservations, go figure.
