No worries mate! Shawn and I had a great time with you. It was like a dream come true for me. I understand about being too busy. I feel your pain. We need to get our pictures in order as well. Then I will give my report and see if it coincides with yours.

Ever get those tires? Or should I say tyres?

Re: Air Hostesses

After backdating for yesterday, that brings us to post 2,000 for this thread and once again I'm getting a little sentimental and patriotic.

A pictorial essay on the uniforms of Qantas - another beautiful nostalgic shot!

Re: Air Hostesses

Congrats on 2000 posts Doc!

You know, I hate to be a prude, but I think we should be a little more discerning in the selection of pictures shown here. Don't get me wrong, I love a sexy, nude woman just like any other red blooded guy but we do have to keep in mind, there are children who view this site. There are plenty of pictures of flight attendants, etc. that are suitable for prime time viewing. This has always been a very classy site and thread. Let's keep it that way.

Thanks Cap!

I got a rebuke for this years Oktoberfest, where I do let the testosterone flow a little but, by and large, I agree and try and keep the thread nice. I have got scores of pics that would never get past the censor here and thought once or twice aboot starting an adults-only version in the Vintage Wings section, but it just seems to devalue the whole ideal of what the thread is aboot. Sexy is OK but hate it when we descend into tacky.

I'm looking forward to sharing another 1000 pics with you all - I got plenty more!

Hi Doc,

I love the way the girls got the 'hunkiest' guy on the ramp to drive the tug! And ..... (It's SOOOOO hard to type this next line!!!) ..... I agree with Capt Wahoo (and yourself) that keeping a reasonable level of class in the thread is really the way to go.

Wishing all of you the happiest of holidays.
Your imaginary First Officer,
Brian

It sure is nice seeing you again Brian! I ran through the pictures from the last show in Chicago and seen you and wondered how you are doing. It's a good thing to agree with me and Doc by the way.

Much appreciated Doc. I actually remember (barely) those days as I did take a couple of flights on PanAm and Eastern back in the 60s and 70s. Kids were always treated like special guests and I loved getting my golden wings and other goodies.
