Not strictly true this one, but Olivia Newton John has been in the news recently with the report that her "dead" missing lover, Patrick McDermott , is alive and well in Mexico.

Olivia is not a Qantas hostie but she teamed up with long-time friend and co-star, John Travolta, who is a Qantas captain, for the QF A380 inaugural flight to LA in the new Qantas cabin crew uniform that was released for the introduction of the A380. She is an expat Aussie, so that's the connection.
