Based nevertheless on the more (stereotyped) traditional brass buttons, epaulettes and braid of the 1940's...

Good find Doc, I can't help but noticing [] , is that the hammer and sickle, the logo of Communism on their badges, just above her right hand boob?? Haha

I think you're right Matt.

Perhaps today should be devoted to Aeroflot.

Fantasy?

Or fact?

Have you seen her eyes! They are electric blue!

Not that I'm entertained by drugs, but is that a "splif" or cigarette in her mouth? I only assume it maybe a splif is because its on LiveLeak, the content is usually stuff that companies may want to conceal. [??]

Thanks

Matt

Re: Air Hostesses

Looking like a scene out of Charlies Angels, these United Airlines stewardesses evacuate a B767 mock-up during fire training.

Re: Air Hostesses

Although the pic is small, I really like this one. It is Western Airlines - special uniform worn by cabin crew on flights to Hawaii during the 1980's.

Re: Air Hostesses

This sad day is dedicated to the Air Hostesses of Air France Flight 447 who are lost, presumed dead over the Atlantic, after their Airbus A330 encountered sudden problems. It is also dedicated to their work colleagues, family and friends...

Yes, that's a nice photo, Doc !
As much as I don't want to realize that it has crashed, it's now very unfortunate to say, that was what obviously happened and there's nothing we can do about it. What a sad day. Rest in peace to all the passengers and crew on board flight AF0447.

Re: Air Hostesses

^^I hate to call it a good bye Kiss, so let's say it's a pretty intense See you later-Kiss, there, Doc !

What airline is this supposed to be ? I don't recognize the female's scarf or the hat of the Male.

Nice art, I see they used highlights, Dark and Brightness set ups on this art image. Nicely done whoever made this.

/Jay

I don't think it is meant to represent a real airline. Although I first saw this picture some years ago, I cannot remember the artist. It is supposed to invoke the idea of a man and a woman separated by duty - in this case the air hostess looks due to depart, with aircraft flying and on the apron in the background, whilst her lover looks like a gendarme, but given his facial wounds, perhaps a soldier?

Re: Air Hostesses

Hosties with Celebs #1

Over the years countless people of importance and celebrities have had their photograph taken with air hostesses. Stay tuned for some of these sprinkled over the next few months.

Today it is an Emirates stewardess with Buzz Aldrin, legendary US Astronaut and the second man to walk on the moon.
