I source them from many places. I have an interest in aviation history and a reasonable library on this subject. I try and keep the thread fresh by varying it up a bit. There are not many pics that have been posted by others here that I do not have - it's just that I like to run with different themes and not swamp you with them all. For example, the 1956 photo just posted Maryanne Kowaleski in front of the Delta CV-440 is one that I am saving for a little mini-section on Delta through the years. With the recent merger with Northwest, the airline has some new uniforms that I would like to feature, but I can only focus on one thing at a time. Be patient - it's not supposed to be about simply flooding the thread with random pictures (although it often is random mood that determines what I post).

Reality Check

Here I am flying on Allegiant Air, Jazz Air and Air Canada in the past couple of weeks and I compare what I have to the flight crews on this section and reality hits you square in the face with a cold fish!

I am really missing out on what many of you are enjoying when you fly
