THOMAS COOK 757-200W in 1/150 scale!

Here is some pics of a custom I just made. In 1/150 scale. She's a great size!

Original donor was an Omni Air International by SkyMarks. I added on Hogan landing gear with rubber rolling tyres. This reg: G-FCLC does not have winglets but I added them on anyway.
I also added a fin on the top of the fuselage.

Anyway.....here she is:

Thanks mate :-) Cool that you have seen this one in real life. Maybe I have too at BHX but not sure.

Haha. We can only wish for more GSE in 1/500. That would be nice.

Thanks Leo :-)

Looks good. What made you decide to use winglets though? TCX don't have winglets on their 757-200's?

Did you do your own decals, and how did you find doing the tail as when I was looking to get my decals, most of the decals companies were afraid to tackle the tail colours.

Thanks mate.

Yeah, fully aware they don't have Winglets on their aircraft but I find they make a 757 look sexier so decided to make it a unique one-off custom.

I found a UK based guy who does my decals for me. Found him on ebay. He managed to get this TCX tail down to a tee! If you want his details PM me and I'll pass you on his details plus a list of what decals he does :-)

Cheers

Re: THOMAS COOK 757-200W in 1/150 scale!

I can't argue with the sentiment, the 757 was a sleek beauty that has just been enhanced immeasurably.

I didn't worry about the tails when I did mine, I was lucky that in 1/500 there were already some TCX aircraft (as you've seen) that meant I only needed to worry about the titles/windows etc.
