1/Custom being produced by Custommodels.

Hello everybody,

I am currently getting a custom done by CustomModels USA. I have chosen a 1/100 EL-AL 777 to built for me. It is costing me a decent price of £175 ! Luckily after six years of searching for an EL-AL model in 1/100 or 1/50 I'm finally getting one done.

below is the stats for the aircraft...

Airline: EL-AL Israel Airlines
Aircraft: Boeing 777-258
Registration: 4X-ECB
Livery Type: 2009
Scale: 1/100

To say once you couldnt manage some 1:400 aircraft its good how you can now manage a 1:100 777

Sounds great! Will surely be a nice model. Would you ever consider getting a EL AL a380 / 777-300ER done? They would both look awesome!

That would be nice If they have the 300 it's probabley on their order list from boeing for 2013.

Certainly do agree, I do know that these can take time though, especially when built from scratch, but I would expect some pictures of progress by at least the 3rd month myself!

Apparently STN dropped those scales and is looking forward to get a 1:36 scale model from the EL AL Office instead. I hope we'll get some photos of this model. Must be a huge ***** to have around in the office, Wonder why they're be giving it away, perhaps they're shutting down the office?

Anyhow.. I have heard ridiculous prices of these big scale models, I was in the Novia Lounge at the CPH Airports, they have models that costs 14K USD when bought new. They are very hard to get. I'll see if I can get some pictures of the models from the lounge when I'm travelling in July.
