Large scale L1011 - Advice needed
Hi all
Ive collected 1/400 Gemini for a very long time but i spotted an opportunity to buy a very large scale Delta L1011 from someone who had no clue what it was or worth. Apparrently it hung in the old Shorts Belfast plant until it was demolished around 15 yrs ago. So i bought, hardly looked at it until i got home (i tried not to let on it was interesting). The graphic on the underside is badly worn but i can make out its made by a company called spacemodel.co.uk. As i reakon it was made in the 80's and spacemodels have merged to a company called curvature (which havent replied to my emails) i was wondering if any of you guys/girls may know a bit more info on it. I think its maybe 1/72 scale as its about 3 foot long or maybe a bit bigger. Its made of a very hard fibreglass and weighs a fare bit.
