PHOTOS - the latest four Gemini 1/200's.. and an Air France 'special'

From that lovely NE Model Centre chappy, these arrived before a weeks hols - however I managed finally to get out yesterday and rapidly discovered it was not a good day for taking photos.. just one of those days where everything just wasn't coming out right.... so apologies.. could do better..

Anyway....

KLM - Boeing 737

Delta - Boeing 737

Alitalia A321

and the one I thought I would like least, but is in fact the prettiest

Air Canada A321

And last but not least, as a Socatec special.... theres not that much modern diecast Air France stuff about... this is a nice one...

bought from the lovely Mr Noble, he later informed me, evidently at cost... I dont think he's gotten over it yet...

Re: PHOTOS - the latest four Gemini 1/200's.. and an Air France 'special'

In the UK the Geminis are between £25 and £30 from a dealer. ($50US). That puts them at about the same price as the resin Herpas.

The diecast Herpas (DC8 Convair Constellation etc) are more expensive and of late with the Euro becoming stronger they have gone up in price a lot. (The DC8 and Hercules I have seen from dealers at £47...... )

The landing gear is as strong as any other. The Airbus, the nosewheel does swivel. The main gear is a little loose compared to something like an Inflight, but I have had no problems with it. The 737 the undercarriage is removable and they do supply 'undercarriage up' doors. Again the nosewheel swivels on the 73....

"O- CANADA" - what a beauty and even better in real life, who wouldn't fall in love with it. - In regards to the Air France it's about time and wouldn't it be great if they bought out some Utopia tailed BA aircraft - a great person (Hugo ), even told me that BA had 3 different China/Hong Kong Utopia tailed versions in their fleet which I never knew - wouldn't they look great in 1/200 scale as well as the BA Canada and Australian Aboriginal tailed aircraft?

Just don't do any hard landings, more than 500 feet per minute.

Re: PHOTOS - the latest four Gemini 1/200's.. and an Air France 'special'

GeminiJets200 series cost around ¥380 RMB in China, even it's produced in GuangDong Province. Maybe, I think the price between the distributor is the same. But, u know, the price from retailer is different. I love GJ200 very much, collected U.S. Airways, KLM, Air Canada, British Airways...
