being a licensed manufacturer, i think the official permissions are herpa's biggest problem. not all of these airlines give herpa permission to make models of their aircrafts...at least that's what herpa always says.

i think one reason why we have not seen many latin american carriers is because many of them have been changing their corporate identities...aeromexico, avianca, varig and LAN have changed their schemes the past few years. typically, airlines only want its current colors made into models for promotional/ publicity purposes.

we can only hope these carriers will now give herpa permission to make more of their aircrafts.
