An A310-304 registered D-AHLB of Hapag Lloyd (herpa model 501026 shows the sister ship D-AHLA) crash landed with BOTH engines cut off at Vienna yesterday. The aircraft was built 1989 and delivered to Hapag Lloyd 01/90, leased from Defag. It has two GE CF6-80C2A2 engines. It can carry up to 264 passengers in a standard charter economy seating. With 150 passengers, it was luckyly only booked about 60%.
The airline does operate three A310-304, registered D-AHLA, D-AHLB and D-APOM. The aircraft D-AHLC is an A310-308. More about it at these links:
