Re: Q&A with Stephan Kuelgen (Herpa product manager)

Sorry for pushing up this old thread, but there will be another Herpa Wings Chat on February 23, 2017 5-6PM at the german forum flughafendiorama. I thought maybe we can streamline some questions for those not able to attend... Like Robin did last year

I just read it this morning as well. I have some free time next thursday so I'll definitely go and have a chat. If anyone can't be there feel free to leave some questions here then I'll ask them.

General chat is actually in German, but of course he will also answer in English, as it happened last year. After all, ads for the chat are always in German and English... So he even might call you Jenny again...

Will think of some questions too, as I might not be able to make it next week...

Re: Q&A with Stephan Kuelgen (Herpa product manager)

Hi Guys,

I won't make that time but I do have two burning questions!

1) what are the chances of us seeing an American 777-200 new livery anytime soon?

2) what are the chances of us seeing a Delta 767-300ER Winglets anytime soon?

Thank you !

Can you ask if they will ever re-release Emirates' A340-500 but in NGII?

Re: Q&A with Stephan Kuelgen (Herpa product manager)

My questions:

- Are we going to see improvements on the new ATR mould landing gears and cockpit windows? Will the TAP ATR 72 release already show these improvements?

- Any chances of seeing ATR 72 models of Caribbean airlines like Air Antilles, Air Caraïbes or LIAT?

- How is the development of Icelandair 757 Hekla Aurora going on? It's been a while since the model should be released.

I second this question, and want to know about the rest of the AA fleet in new livery. I have an itch to do one of my local airports, Boston or Miami, in 1/500 but I haven't been able to find enough AA narrow bodies being sold to justify starting work on the layout.

The heritage liveries were really great and I want to pick one up, but the eternal problem with Herpa of too many special liveries and not enough of the regular colours has stalled my plans once again!

If I had to pick two AA planes I'd like to see in new livery/new model, it'd be the 737-800 and A321 (especially since we're already expecting the 757, but I don't think they're being used domestically anymore, right?)

There's already a new livery B737-800
I use it all the time at my airport!

yabu is flying under the radar
Re: Q&A with Stephan Kuelgen (Herpa product manager)

- Brussels Airlines 320 "Magritte & Trident". We got the "tintin" already from sky500.
- The main gear of the A350...
- The nose gear of the B787 (seems bit high?, i could be wrong cause i don't have a 787 yet...)

Thanks

This is a topic that will surely come up.

As for the rest of the questions, I'll add them to my list.

Great one.
The 787 seems to suffer with long NLG and short MLG.

The 777, on the other hand, suffers with long MLG and short NLG.
