I was thinking the same thing...and I'm pretty sure that the elusive, darn near impossible Aer Lingus A330 is in the top three. This would mean however that this new producer becomes just another widebody manufacturer.

I would venture a guess, given their location, that narrows from Europe would be the strength of their emphasis...which wouldn't interest me too much, but would fill a much needed gaping hole in 1:500.

I think there is a dirth of representation of narrowbodies from South America and Central America. That would be a nice surprise!

I don't mean to dump on the enthusiasm here, but until we get a sense of their direction/ quality, etc., my excitement remains tepid...

Re: New 1/500 manufacturer: Eagle500

thanks guys for the suggestions, we want to focus on aircraft types that were never released before in the scale, so you will not see eg. A320s from us. We have suffered some technical problems recently, but we still hope for first release in the first half of this year. we will keep you updated

No A320, ok.
Widebody or narrowbody?
Current or classic?

I have spoken to the owner today, the first mold they are working on is the Antonov An-12

Then, some 737 classics will come, starting with 737-300, and then 737-500.
As for the airlines Fischer Air is high on the list.

All models will be limited 50-100 pieces, prices will start at 40€.

Re: New 1/500 manufacturer: Eagle500

737s at 40 euros.... Quality must be 100 % Top notch then! Limited numbers only won't save the day to justify such prices.

Looking forward to seeing their first samples!

40 euros for a 737... Then I'm going to pass! The quality will never make EUR40 a fair price for such a small model.

Contradiction?

However I do approve the choice of moulds.
For the An-12 some freighters like Ukrainian Charter, Ukranian Air Alliance, Meridian Air Charter, Aerovis, Cavok Air, Silk Way, LOT Cargo would be nice!

If you want to avoid this kind of miscommunication... you'll have to communicate yourself. Some time ago we had a similar story with a new manufacturer.

Still hope to see something soon from you guys!

All the best!
